A Good Man Is Hard To Find

The story starts out with a family vacation to Florida. On there way the grandma notcied a road on the right that she had been down before. So after fighting They got so far and she didnt say anything but she realize this wasnt the right road, the right road was in Tennessee now on our way to Florida. Then the cat jumped onto the mans shoulder and they crashed into a ditch. After awhile when they got out of the car a car pulled up with three men. They started walking down the hill to the family. After awhile the grandma kept standing at the one man. she then remembered the man who was loose from jail. it was the man. then as she started talking to him the other to men took the rest of the family down over the hill and killed him. shot them i believe. Later on they then took the grandma over the hill with the rest of them and killed her to. I did like the story at the beginning but then at the end when they all died, i didnt like that. maybe children should listen to their parents more often because the grandma told her son not to go to florida because there was a man loose and she wanted to go to Tennessee.

Tierney, most everything you wrote retold the story. The last two sentences only really address what you were to do. You have no mention of irony. I want to clarify that the characters did go where the grandmother wanted on her little side trip and that is what lead them to the Misfit and the disaster that befalls them. That is ironical. She said she would never take her family to where the Misfit was.
